Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains felicitated a record 882 government school students in Zirakpur who cleared the NEET-UG exam this year. Driven by the state’s “Sikhya Kranti” initiatives, the number of successful public school candidates has doubled from just 437 qualifiers two years ago. Officials emphasized that Punjab is currently the only state in the country that tracks and shares these specific enrollment and success figures to maintain transparency in its educational reforms.
Education Minsiter Said Education is not just my portfolio—it is my passion. Transforming the lives of students is the purpose of my life. Punjab is the only state in India that publicly releases the official data of government school students qualifying NEET and JEE every year, ensuring transparency, accountability, and measurable outcomes. Every successful student is a reminder that quality education can change lives.
