Sangrur, July 26:
MLA of Sangrur constituency Mrs. Narinder Kaur Bharaj today held public meetings in villages Mangwal, Saron, Phagguwala, Nadampur and Channo and held discussions with the villagers. During this, she listened to the problems and suggestions of the people carefully and gave instructions to the concerned officials to resolve the issues of the people in a timely manner and on priority basis.
On this occasion, the MLA also presented cheques of grants for the development works of the villages under the ‘Rangla Punjab Scheme’. She handed over cheques of Rs 28 lakh to village Mangwal, Rs 31 lakh to Saron, Rs 20 lakh to Nadampur, Rs 18 lakh to Channo and Rs 17 lakh to Phagguwala. She said that this amount will be spent on development works in the villages as per the need, which will directly benefit the rural residents.
MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj said that Chief Minister Mr. The Punjab government under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to providing better facilities to the people at every door and for the all-round development of the villages. He said that the government is releasing large amounts of funds for education, health, infrastructure, drinking water, sewage, roads and other development works so that every village can be made strong in terms of development.
He also made the people aware of the various public welfare schemes of the Punjab government and appealed to them to take maximum benefit of the schemes being run by the government. He assured that the development of every village of Sangrur constituency is being done without any discrimination and he will continue to work among the people to fulfill the expectations of the people.
On this occasion, a large number of villagers including Avtar Tari, Lakhwinder Singh Phagguwala, Gurpreet Singh Phagguwala, Lucky Sharma, Gurpreet Singh Sarpanch Channo, Karamjit Kaur Samiti Member, Jagsir Singh Jaggu, Harinder Singh Saron, Gurpreet Singh Nadampur, Ranveer Singh Nadampur, Vikram Singh Nakte were present.
