Independence Day Celebrations are Rooted in The Spirit of Patriotism, National unity, and Respect for martyrs: Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar.

Rohtak, August 11. A meeting regarding preparations for the Independence Day celebrations was held today at the Mini-Secretariat auditorium, presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar. During the meeting, necessary guidelines were issued to officials from relevant departments to ensure the event is organized successfully, with due dignity and in an orderly manner.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar stated that, as in previous years, the district-level Independence Day celebration will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, Rohtak. He instructed officials to complete all preparations within the stipulated timeframe and ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place at the venue. The meeting included detailed discussions regarding the parade, cultural programs, police arrangements, security measures, sanitation, drinking water, restroom facilities, seating arrangements, and other basic amenities.
Narendra Kumar directed the concerned officials to make adequate arrangements to ensure that the general public, students, participants, and distinguished guests visiting the venue face no inconvenience. He emphasized that the Independence Day celebration is a significant event rooted in patriotism, national unity, and respect for martyrs; therefore, all arrangements for the event must be executed in an excellent and disciplined manner. He also reviewed the preparations for the parade and cultural programs and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials.

Chief Guest to pay tribute to martyrs at the War Memorial:
Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar stated that, on the occasion of the Independence Day celebrations, the Chief Guest will visit the War Memorial to pay homage to the brave martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice for the country’s freedom. Instructions were issued to the concerned officials to ensure all necessary arrangements at the War Memorial. He directed the officials to ensure there were no lapses in the preparations for the ceremony and emphasized the need for inter-departmental coordination. He further instructed the officials to continuously monitor tasks related to their respective departments and to complete all arrangements well in time.
Officials from various departments and concerned staff were present at the meeting, including Sampla SDM Ankita Puwar, Rohtak SDM Ashish Kumar, Meham SDM Vipin Sharma, City Magistrate Shubham, District Development and Panchayat Officer Rajpal Chahal, and District Education Officer Manjit Malik.
