Chandigarh, August 27 –
During the monsoon session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, the House, including Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini, Leader of Opposition Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda and MLA Mr. Aditya Devi Lal, expressed deep grief over the demise of important personalities, former MLAs, martyred soldiers and citizens who lost their lives in various accidents since the last Vidhan Sabha session.
The Chief Minister, while reading the condolence resolution, paid tribute to the departed souls and expressed his sympathy with the bereaved families. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also expressed grief over the demise of those who died due to floods in Nepal on Wednesday.
The Vidhan Sabha, while paying tribute to all the departed souls, prayed to God to grant the bereaved families the strength to bear this unbearable shock.
Tribute to Chaudhary Sahi Ram Bishnoi, Former Member of United Punjab Vidhan Sabha
The House expressed deep grief over the demise of Chaudhary Sahi Ram Bishnoi, Former Member of United Punjab Vidhan Sabha on May 22. He was born on January 12, 1922 and was elected as a member of United Punjab Vidhan Sabha in the year 1960. He was a dedicated social worker. With his demise, the state has lost a worthy public representative and social worker.
The House also expressed deep grief over the demise of Shri Rajpal Bhukri, Former Member of Haryana Vidhan Sabha on July 20, 2026. He was born on May 19, 1971 and was elected as a member of Haryana Vidhan Sabha in the year 2009. He was always dedicated to the welfare and upliftment of the poor and weaker sections of the society. The House described his demise as a great loss to the state.
The House paid homage to the brave soldiers of Haryana who laid down their lives while displaying immense courage and valor to protect the unity and integrity of the motherland.

The House paid tribute to the martyrdom of all these brave soldiers and expressed its deep condolences to the bereaved families.
The House expressed deep grief over the tragic incident of fire at shoe shops in D Park Market, Rohtak on June 9, 2026, which resulted in the death of three people. The Vidhan Sabha expressed its condolences to the bereaved families.
The House also expressed deep grief over the tragic death of four people who descended into a well due to suffocation due to poisonous gas while trying to save a calf that had fallen into a well in Munimpur village of Jhajjar district on July 19, 2026. The House expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
The House also expressed deep grief over the demise of Shri Ramsharan Tewatia, brother of MLA Shri Raghubir Singh Tewatia, on June 22, 2026. The House paid tribute to the departed soul and expressed its condolences to the bereaved family members.
