Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Dhaliwal launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the ruling party at the Centre, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He stated that the BJP has no support base left in Punjab, and is therefore resorting to the ED’s assistance. Instead of being an impartial agency, the ED has now become a complete ally of the BJP. The central government is continuously hatching dirty political conspiracies to defame the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab and implicate Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and other senior leaders in false cases. The drama of repeatedly sending letters is being staged to tarnish the image of the Punjab government.
ED-BJP trying to defame Punjab government: Dhaliwal
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Kuldeep Dhaliwal, referring to recent developments, said that on the 28th, the Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) had clearly stated in a letter to the ED that the documents they had sent were unreadable. The police administration had requested the ED to send a responsible officer to police headquarters on the 1st to provide accurate information about these documents. However, on the appointed date, no ED officer arrived with the documents. This clearly shows that the ED’s intention is not to investigate, but merely to defame the Punjab government and our leaders in the media.
The AAP leader said that the sole objective of the ED and the BJP is to halt the unprecedented development work underway in Punjab and to defame Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his family by mentally harassing them. Dhaliwal warned that the BJP should not forget that it has seen our senior leaders imprisoned, but the Aam Aadmi Party has remained rock solid. No matter how hard the ED and CBI try, the people of Punjab will re-establish an Aam Aadmi Party government in the 2027 elections. Our leaders accepted jail time but refused to submit to the BJP’s dictatorship.
Calling the BJP Punjab’s ” enemy number one ,” Kuldeep Dhaliwal said that the party martyred more than 750 Punjab farmers during the farmers’ protest, blocked Punjab’s development funds, and obstructed the state’s development at every step. He made it clear that the BJP cannot intimidate the Aam Aadmi Party warriors with the help of the ED. We will not be intimidated by these false cases. Just as truth prevailed in Delhi and fake cases were exposed, so too will truth prevail in Punjab, and the BJP’s conspiracies will be fully exposed.
