Chandigarh , September 16 – With the aim of taking forward the concept of developed India and the service journey of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public life with public participation , the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan to be organized in Haryana from September 17 to October 17 will begin today with the ‘ Aashirwad Da Diva ‘ program across the state , in which citizens will participate enthusiastically and express their commitment towards service , dedication and social concerns . Through the ‘ Aashirwad Da Diva ‘ program , efforts are being made to connect different sections of the society with service work . On this occasion, the beneficiaries will light lamps at marked places , major projects and with their families.
Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini was chairing an important meeting on the preparations for the ‘ Seva Sankalp Abhiyan ‘ in Chandigarh on Wednesday. In the meeting , he reviewed in detail the preparations for various programmes proposed under the campaign and gave necessary directions to the officials. The meeting was attended by Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Shyam Singh Rana , Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rajesh Khullar , Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Rastogi and other senior officials , and the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts joined the meeting through video conferencing.
The Chief Minister said that the dates and action plans of the programs in all the districts should be finalized in a timely manner. Nodal officers should be appointed at the district level and regular monitoring of each program should be done. He directed the officers to take regular reports of the progress of the programs from the district level.
He said that under the ‘ Seva Sankalp Abhiyan ‘ , service camps should be organized at the block level , in the Municipal Corporation , Municipal Council , Municipal Corporation and Mahagrams as well. In these service camps, work like resolving complaints related to the details of the beneficiaries of the schemes being run by various departments , adding new beneficiaries should be done on the spot . The Chief Minister gave clear instructions that the benefits of these services should be provided on the spot , no citizen should have to visit the office after coming to the camp.
The Chief Minister directed the School Education and Higher Education Departments to organize activities related to service , nation building and creativity in schools , colleges and universities. Painting , Rangoli and other creative competitions should be organized for students. Better activities and innovations should be identified at the district and school levels and showcased on a wide scale . Maximum participation of students and youth should be ensured under the campaign.
He said that all the departments should coordinate with each other in micro-planning of the programs. The dates of the programs should be fixed in such a way that maximum public participation can be ensured in each program.
He said that the aim of ‘ Seva Sankalp Abhiyan ‘ is to ensure active participation of the society in service activities. Therefore, a concrete plan should be made for each program at the administrative level and the campaign should be implemented in a comprehensive manner up to the village , block , district and state levels .
The second phase of Lado Lakshmi Yojana will be launched , laborers will also get the benefits of various schemes.
Along with the launch of the ‘ Seva Sankalp Abhiyan ‘ , an important initiative will also be taken towards women empowerment and labour welfare in the Vishwakarma Diwas program to be organized in Mahendragarh. Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana will launch the second phase of the scheme , which will take the process of extending the benefits of the scheme to more eligible women forward. On this occasion, benefits will also be provided to eligible labourers under various schemes being run for the welfare of labourers. The Chief Minister directed the officers to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the eligible beneficiaries in a smooth and transparent manner and all necessary arrangements should be made to connect them with the schemes during the program.
Documentation of each district’s best initiatives and success stories
Shri Naib Singh Saini said that the innovative efforts , best practices and success stories being done in the districts during the campaign should be compiled. These should be widely publicized through social media and other media , so that other districts can also get inspiration from the good work. He also directed to prepare an effective publicity plan for the campaign and make better use of digital media.
