Under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme, a bus was sent by MLA Ajit Pal Singh Kohli from Ward No. 39 of Patiala for the pilgrims of Sheesh Mahal Colony to visit the holy land of Sri Darbar Sahib Ji.
MLA Ajit Pal Singh Kohli wished the pilgrims on this occasion and prayed for a safe and peaceful journey. He said that these pilgrims will pay obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib and Durgiana Temple located in Amritsar.
MLA Kohli said that this journey is not only religious but also a symbol of the strength of social unity and togetherness.
On this occasion, the residents of the area thanked the Punjab Government and MLA Kohli and said that with this scheme, there is a lot of happiness among the people of the area and great enthusiasm is being seen among the pilgrims. He said that the benefits of the government’s public welfare schemes are being taken to every door.
On this occasion, ward 39 in-charge Jyoti, Harvinderpal Singh Vinti and local residents were present.
