A special camp was organized today at the office of the Patiala Municipal Corporation under the leadership of Mayor Kundan Gogia to facilitate the submission of pending application forms under the Mawan-Dhiyan Satikaryog Scheme. During the camp, a large number of women completed their application forms, while officials verified the required documents and finalized their applications.
Mayor Kundan Gogia said that it is the responsibility of the Municipal Corporation to ensure that the benefits of the Punjab Government’s welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary. He stated that the special camp was organized to assist women whose applications had remained pending for various reasons, ensuring that no deserving beneficiary is deprived of the scheme’s benefits.
He further informed that officials and staff of the Municipal Corporation extended full support to the beneficiaries by helping them fill out application forms, verifying documents, and providing all necessary information throughout the camp.
Mayor Gogia reiterated that the Municipal Corporation is committed to providing efficient and transparent public services. He directed the officials to ensure the timely disposal of all applications related to government welfare schemes so that citizens do not face any inconvenience.
Women who attended the camp appreciated the initiative, saying that having all services available at one place helped them save both time and money. They expressed hope that such public welfare camps would continue to be organized in the future.
