Chandigarh: The Punjab Government has said that every rupee of public money is being invested to improve health services and ensure quality medical care reaches every corner of the state.
The government said that significant efforts have been made to upgrade healthcare infrastructure and make essential medical services more accessible and affordable for people. Through the network of Aam Aadmi Clinics, residents are receiving free medicines, diagnostic tests and primary healthcare services close to their homes, reducing both medical expenses and travel time.
According to the government, the expansion of healthcare facilities is aimed at ensuring that quality treatment is available to every citizen, regardless of where they live. The initiative has helped strengthen the state’s public health system while improving access to timely medical care.
The government said that safeguarding the health of the people remains its top priority and reaffirmed its commitment to further enhancing healthcare services across Punjab through continued investment in hospitals, medical infrastructure and community-based healthcare facilities.
