It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the country’s first hydrogen train from Jind railway station. After this, he will reach the rally venue and address a huge public meeting. There is a huge excitement in the entire district regarding the Prime Minister’s visit and extensive preparations have been made by the administration.
Hi-tech journey for Rs 25
This train will run between Jind and Sonipat and has the capacity to carry about 2600 passengers at a time. Its fare for ordinary passengers has been kept at around Rs 25, which will provide people with an economical and environment-friendly travel option. This hydrogen fueled train is being considered a big step towards a pollution-free transport system for India. This train has been equipped with 10 coaches equipped with modern amenities, while its technology is cleaner and environment-friendly compared to diesel trains. With this historic launch, India will join the league of select countries in the world that have this cutting-edge technology.
After Germany, China, now India’s sting
India is going to become the fifth country in the world to launch a hydrogen fueled train on its tracks. Before this, only a few countries like Germany, China, Japan and the US have successfully used this technology. This is a train completely prepared with indigenous technology under ‘Make in India’.
Route and Time
Jind to Sonipat Journey: This first hydrogen train of the country will run on an 89 km long route between Jind and Sonipat in Haryana. This train will stop at a total of 12 stations (like Gohana, Butana, Mohana etc.) between Jind and Sonipat. This train will cover the distance of 89 km in about 2 hours. Its maximum operating speed on the normal track will be 75 KM/H, although it is designed for a top speed of 110 KM/H.
MP Sanjay Bhatia looks excited about the rally
Rajya Sabha member and program in-charge Sanjay Bhatia, who arrived at the rally venue to review the preparations, was seen dancing happily after seeing the enthusiasm of the workers. He said that today’s rally will be historic and completely successful. BJP workers and officials have worked hard for the last several days to make the rally a success, the result of which will be seen today.
Sanjay Bhatia said that to make the rally a success, everyone was assigned different responsibilities and every worker has fulfilled his responsibility with full dedication.
