Due to the continuous efforts of Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, illegal encroachments that had been going on in the Tripri area for years were removed, solving the long-awaited problem. This initiative will not only help in smoothening traffic but will also provide great relief to the people of the area from the long-standing problem of traffic jams.
There was illegal encroachment on this road in Tripri area for many years, due to which daily commuters, students, traders and emergency services had to face a lot of difficulties.
Taking this problem seriously, Dr. Balbir Singh continuously coordinated with the concerned departments and the Municipal Corporation Patiala, as a result of which the illegal encroachments have now been removed. In the joy of this historic initiative, the residents of the area expressed their happiness by beating drums and performing Bhangra and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh.
People said that this is not just the construction of a road, but a new beginning for the development and good governance of the area. They expressed hope that the construction of this road will improve traffic management, reduce the chances of accidents and also give a new impetus to local business activities.
The residents of the area said that Dr. Balbir Singh has fulfilled his promise to the people and has taken effective steps to solve this old problem. They said that there was a demand to solve this matter for many years, but now for the first time concrete action has been taken in this direction. Due to this, the trust of the people in the government has been strengthened.
Dr. Balbir Singh said that solving the problems of the people is the first responsibility of the government and he is committed to ensuring balanced and planned development of every area of Patiala. He said that no kind of hindrance in development works will be tolerated and public interests will always be given priority. He also thanked the Municipal Corporation Patiala and the concerned officials, who contributed to making this campaign a success.
The residents of the area expressed the hope that similar development works would be given priority in the coming times as well, so that basic facilities could be further strengthened in other areas of Patiala including Tripuri.
