Chandigarh , October 17 – Haryana Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma said that Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini is personally monitoring the crop procurement arrangements across the state . The Chief Minister has clear instructions that no farmer should face any problem in selling his crop . He said that the state government stands firmly with the farmers and every grain of the farmers ‘ produce will be purchased . The procurement , lifting and payment arrangements in the markets are being continuously monitored . He instructed the officials that negligence at any level in crop procurement will not be tolerated .
The minister arrived at the grain market in Rohtak on Saturday to review the crop procurement arrangements and was talking to reporters during the visit .
The Minister said that during the Congress rule , farmers had to wait in the markets for two to three months to sell their crops . Today, under the leadership of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini , the procurement system has been expedited . Now the procurement is being completed in 15 days . He said that instead of worrying about the farmers , the Congress has got into the habit of only making political statements . The priority of the government is to get the farmers ‘ crops at the right price on time and ensure their early removal from the markets .
He said that the Congress has no concrete issue left to surround the government , hence sometimes questions are being raised about crop procurement and sometimes about SIR .
Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma congratulated Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and the people of the state on the completion of two years of the Haryana government and said that the state government is committed to the welfare of farmers , poor , youth and every section . Under the leadership of the Chief Minister , development and public welfare works are being continuously taken forward .
Regarding the demand for Special In – depth Review ( SIR) and the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner , the Minister said that the Congress should make it clear that when the Congress wins the election , it finds the Election Commission completely impartial , but as soon as it loses , allegations of rigging are started on the Election Commission . He alleged that the opposition party wants to create an atmosphere of chaos in the country in a systematic way . Instead of accepting responsibility for its election defeat , the Congress is trying to mislead the public by targeting constitutional institutions . On this occasion , BJP District President Ranveer Singh Dhaka , Sub – Divisional Officer Ashish Kumar , Chairman Harish Kaushik , former Mayor Manmohan Goyal , former Senior Deputy Mayor Rajkamal Sehgal , Haryom Bhali , officers and farmers were present .
