CM Nayab Saini Unveils ₹7.58 Cr GJUST Projects to Boost Haryana Education Hub

HISAR: In a major push for higher education and campus infrastructure, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for three critical development projects totaling ₹7.58 crore at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST). The comprehensive upgrades include the foundation stone laying for a state-of-the-art girls’ hostel budgeted at ₹6 crore to enhance secure on-campus housing, alongside the official opening of the newly constructed Chaudhary Bhajan Lal Nursing Block worth ₹1.40 crore to bolster localized medical education.
To honor historical environmental conservation efforts, the Chief Minister also unveiled the ₹18 lakh Khejarli Mahabalidan Smriti Shilp and Mata Amrita Devi Circle. Speaking at the campus event, Saini emphasized that these modern resources directly align with the National Education Policy (NEP) goals to empower youth with industry-ready skills in fields like artificial intelligence and robotics, furthering the administration’s resolution to establish Haryana as a leading global knowledge economy hub.
