Eight students of the city’s renowned educational institution PM Shri Government Co-Ed Multipurpose Senior Secondary School, Pasi Road have proved their mettle by qualifying the JEE and six students have qualified the NEET exam.
Following which, during the felicitation ceremony organized by the Punjab Government in Chandigarh, the Principal of PM Shri Government Co-Ed Multipurpose Senior Secondary School, Pasi Road, Madam Vijay Kapoor was specially felicitated by Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia.
This honour was given in view of the excellent performance of the students of the school in competitive examinations in the year 2026. 8 students of the school have successfully qualified in JEE and 6 students have successfully qualified in NEET. The successful students in NEET include Rajvansh Ahluwalia, Navjot Singh, Vidhita, Ishnoor Kaur, Maninder Singh and Seema Gupta, while the success of 8 students in JEE is also a testament to the academic achievement of the school.
During the felicitation ceremony, the Education Minister said that due to the hard work of teachers and principals of government schools, today students of government schools of Punjab are continuously achieving success in national level competitive examinations. He congratulated Principal Vijay Kapoor and the entire teaching team of the school and said that this achievement is also inspiring for other schools.
On this occasion, Principal Madam Vijay Kapoor gave the credit of this honour to the dedicated teachers, students and parents of the school and said that this remarkable success has been possible as a result of teamwork, planned preparation and continuous hard work. He assured to provide a better environment for students for higher education and competitive examinations in the future as well.
With this honor, PM Shri Government Co-Ed Multipurpose Senior Secondary School, Pasi Road, Patiala has once again proven that students of government schools can also perform brilliantly in the prestigious competitive examinations of the country with their ability, hard work and guidance of teachers. Upon reaching the school after receiving the honor from the Punjab Government, Principal Madam Vijay Kapoor was given a warm welcome by the entire staff on reaching the school. District Education Officer Patiala Shalu Mehra specially congratulated Principal Madam Vijay Kapoor on receiving the honor.
