Patiala : In the Class XII results announced by the Punjab School Education Board, the students of Government Girls Senior Secondary Smart School Old Police Line (OPL) Patiala have brought glory to the school by performing brilliantly. The school’s result was 100 percent and four students made their place in the Punjab merit list.
Ridhima daughter of Mr. Ketan Jain, a student of the Commerce Group, secured 15th position in the Punjab merit by scoring 97.2 percent marks, while Ishmeet Kaur daughter of Mr. Manohar Singh secured 17th rank by scoring 96.8 percent marks.
Similarly, Khushpreet Kaur daughter of Mr. Balwinder Singh of the Taxation Practices Department of the Vocational Group secured 14th position in the Punjab merit by scoring 97.4 percent marks and Jashanjit Kaur daughter of Mr. Jagpal Singh secured 15th position in the Punjab merit by scoring 97.2 percent marks.

The results of the school’s Science and Arts groups were also very excellent. The principal of the school, Mrs. Mandeep Kaur Antal, said that this great achievement has been possible due to the continuous hard work of the teachers and the dedication of the students as per the guidelines of the Education Department and District Education Officer, Mr. Sanjeev Sharma.
She said that out of a total of 231 students, 56 students have scored more than 90 percent marks. On this occasion, the principal honored the meritorious students by giving them a prize money of Rs. 5100 each. She also congratulated the parents of the students and the entire staff of the school.
The principal also highly appreciated the hard work of the commerce lecturers, vocational lecturers and all the subject teachers
