Chandigarh, September 16, 2026 : Haryana Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh will visit government schools in Faridabad district on September 16, 2026. During the visit, the Governor will interact with students, teachers, and members of the School Management Committee to discuss educational arrangements and various issues concerning the students. Additionally, he will inspect the facilities and infrastructure available in the schools to assess their current status.
As per the scheduled itinerary, the Governor will hold discussions with students, teachers, and School Management Committee members. He will interact with the children to gather information regarding their studies, the facilities available at the school, and other pertinent matters.
A meeting with the concerned officials was held under the chairmanship of Faridabad SDM Dr. Honey Bansal to review preparations for the Governor’s proposed visit. During the meeting, she reviewed the preparations being made by various departments for the successful and smooth conduct of the event and issued necessary guidelines to the officials.
SDM Dr. Honey Bansal directed the officials to ensure that all arrangements related to the Governor’s visit are completed ahead of schedule. She instructed them to properly ensure cleanliness, security, traffic management, seating arrangements, drinking water facilities, and other essential amenities within the school premises. She stated that during the school inspections, aspects such as cleanliness, educational arrangements, facilities available to students, and the role of the School Management Committee would also be evaluated.
She directed the officials to ensure that all arrangements at the event venues are organized and seamless, and that necessary preparations for interactions with students, teachers, and School Management Committee members are completed on time. He stated that the purpose of the Governor’s visit is to understand the education system in government schools and issues concerning the students, as well as to take stock of the available facilities.
