Chandigarh, July 31 – Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh today paid floral tributes to Shaheed Udham Singh on the occasion of his martyrdom day at Lok Bhawan here.
Paying homage to the great freedom fighter, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh said that Shaheed Udham Singh’s unparalleled courage, patriotism and supreme sacrifice for the nation continue to inspire generations. He described Shaheed Udham Singh as a symbol of unwavering determination and selfless service to the country.
The Governor said that the nation will always remain indebted to the sacrifices made by its brave freedom fighters. He urged the younger generation to draw inspiration from the life and ideals of Shaheed Udham Singh and contribute wholeheartedly towards nation-building while upholding the values of unity, integrity and patriotism.
