Chandigarh , September 15 – Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation has provided financial assistance of Rs. 176.50 lakh to 59 beneficiaries under various schemes during the current financial year till August 2026 , including subsidy of Rs. 138.75 lakh.
Giving detailed information in this regard, the spokesperson of the Corporation said that the Corporation provides loans to people belonging to Scheduled Castes under various categories so that they can establish their own business and self-employment. These categories include agriculture and allied sectors , industrial sector , trade and business sector and self-employment sector. They are also being provided financial assistance under the schemes implemented with the help of the National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation.
He said that under the trade and business sector, an amount of Rs 53 lakh was provided to 58 beneficiaries, out of which Rs 26.60 lakh was released as bank loan , Rs 20.25 lakh as subsidy and Rs 6.15 lakh as margin money.
The spokesperson said that under the small business assistance scheme of National Scheduled Finance and Development Corporation, Rs. 11 lakh was released to one beneficiary for this period. In this, the direct loan share of National Scheduled Finance and Development Corporation and Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation is Rs. 3.96 lakh. Apart from this , a subsidy of Rs. 109.50 lakh was also distributed.
