Heritage Street will Be Renovated at a Cost of 55 lakhs

Patiala, August 21: Heritage Street, which has been a curse for the people for a long time, is going to become a blessing again thanks to the hard work of Patiala MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli. After the demand of the people around, today MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli, Mayor Kundan Gogia have started the work to make this Heritage Street cemented. It will cost Rs 55 lakh. There is immense happiness among the people of Patiala regarding the beginning of changing the condition and direction of Heritage Street, which has become the gateway to hell.
In the name of Heritage Street, the Congress government wasted lakhs of rupees, scams worth lakhs of rupees were committed and the people suffered its hell for the last 6 years. Now with the construction of a cemented road, its hell will be brought out. This heritage street, built in the middle of Patiala city during the then Congress government of Punjab, will now be dug up, because the tiles installed in the name of this heritage were a threat to the lives of the people. Today, the construction of a cemented road by digging up these tiles was inaugurated by Patiala MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli and Mayor Kundan Gogia along with Commissioner Mrs. Pooja Grewal.
On this occasion, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli said that this road will be made completely cemented at a cost of 55 lakhs so that the people do not face any problem in traffic. He said that the people were very upset with the road-like tiles installed here in the name of heritage by the previous Congress government. He said that we had promised the people that these tiles, which were a drain on lives, would be dug up at any cost and a good and clean road would be built here. Therefore, the promise made to the people has been fulfilled today.
On this occasion, Mayor Kundan Gogia said that there will be no compromise in the development works being done for the city residents. He said that we have ordered all the contractors and municipal corporation officials that there should be no shortage in the development works of the city and there will be no compromise in the material being used for the work. If there is any shortage or any material is found, strict action will be taken immediately.
