The PRTC family enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive organized by the Punjab Pollution Control Board in collaboration with the District Administration and Municipal Corporation Patiala at Nabha Road under ‘Mission Clean Patiala’ and extended full support to this public welfare campaign.
In this cleanliness drive, Chairperson of Punjab Pollution Control Board Mrs. Reena Gupta, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Patiala Mrs. Pooja Sial Grewal, Member Secretary Dr. Loveneet Dubey, officers of various government departments as well as members of the social service organization “Mera Patiala Main Hi Sawaran” also participated enthusiastically. On this occasion, people from all sections of the society including children, youth, elderly and women participated in large numbers and expressed their awareness and social responsibility towards cleanliness.
PRTC Chairman Advocate Harpal Juneja could not personally participate in this campaign due to urgent reasons. He specially sent his son Yuvraj Juneja to participate in this campaign. Yuvraj Juneja, along with all the officers, employees and workshop staff of PRTC, actively participated in this public welfare campaign and expressed his commitment towards environmental protection by cleaning the surrounding area.
From 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the entire PRTC team played an active role in the cleanliness campaign outside the PRTC Head Office (Workshop), Nabha Road, and contributed to making Patiala clean, beautiful and eco-friendly.
On this occasion, Advocate Harpal Juneja said in his message, “A clean city is not only the responsibility of the government, but also the joint responsibility of every citizen. When government institutions, social organizations, students and the common people come together and join such campaigns, a strong foundation for positive change is laid in the society. We should make cleanliness around us a daily habit, so that the coming generations can get a clean, healthy and green environment.” He thanked the Punjab Pollution Control Board, District Administration, Municipal Corporation Patiala and all the institutions and citizens participating in this campaign and said that the PRTC family will continue to contribute with full dedication and responsibility in every campaign related to public interest, cleanliness and environmental protection in the future as well.
