Patiala Mayor Kundan Gogia celebrated his birthday this year in the true spirit of social service by spending the day at the SDKS Pingla Ashram, located on Rajpura Road. The occasion was attended by several leading social service organizations, clubs, and prominent citizens of Patiala. During the visit, the Mayor spent quality time with specially-abled children, youth, and elderly residents of the ashram, sharing the joy of his birthday with them.
Mayor Kundan Gogia interacted with the ashram’s management, staff, and residents to understand their needs and the facilities available to them. He said that including every section of society in our celebrations and standing by those in need is a shared responsibility. He added that special occasions such as birthdays should not be limited to personal celebrations but should also be dedicated to the welfare of society.
