Patiala, June 5
A highly commendable effort has been made by the Municipal Corporation Patiala with the aim of providing better, transparent and fast administrative services to the city residents. As per the guidelines of Honorable Mayor Kundan Gogia and Commissioner Paramjit Singh, a special facilitation camp was organized at Dr. Ambedkar Hall today for passing NOCs of plots and residential maps. The main objective of this camp was to provide relief to the people from the difficulties faced in the office process and to resolve the pending cases on the spot.
32 files were disposed of on the spot
During the camp, the senior officials and technical staff of the Municipal Corporation scrutinized the applications submitted by the people on the spot. After scrutinizing the documents related to various matters, a total of 32 files were cleared and approved on the spot, which included NOCs of plots and maps of residential houses. This prompt action of the Corporation not only brought great relief to the people, but also saved their time and expenses.
Now the camp will be held every Friday.
The Municipal Corporation administration informed that keeping in mind the public interest, this facility camp will not be limited to today only, but will continue continuously in the future as well. Under the new plan made by the administration, now every Friday such a special camp will be organized in the Municipal Corporation Patiala office, so that the citizens do not have to visit the offices again and again to get their maps and NOCs passed and can get all the services at one place. The applicants whose documents were incomplete were guided by the officials to complete the required documents quickly so that they can be settled next time.
Building Branch officials were present.
During this special camp, apart from the Mayor and Commissioner, the entire senior team of the Building Branch was present, including Mr. Neeraj Bhatti (MTP), Mr. Kamalpreet Singh (ATP), Mr. Sivajit Singh (ATP) and Mrs. Gagandeep Kaur (ATP).
