NEW DELHI | Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal extended Teachers’ Day wishes to the people of the country and expressed his gratitude to the teachers driving the education transformation in Punjab’s government schools. He highlighted the major role teachers played in transforming government schools first in Delhi and now in Punjab. The former Delhi Chief pointed out that while a government can provide good infrastructure, it is teachers who give children a strong educational foundation.

On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal took to ‘X’ and wrote, “I pay my heartfelt respects to former President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary and extend my warm wishes to all the people of the country on Teachers’ Day.”

The former Delhi CM stated, “I have immense respect for teachers. Teachers have made the greatest contribution to the transformation of government schools in Delhi and later in Punjab. A government can provide better infrastructure, but it is the teacher who gives a strong foundation to the children studying there. I am grateful to all of them.”
