Chandigarh , September 16 – State Minister for Cooperation , Jails , Tourism , Heritage and Elections Dr. Arvind Sharma said that special events will be organized across the state in the spirit of ‘ One Diva – One Aashirwad ‘ at the launch of the Sewa Sankalp Campaign starting from September 17. Along with major tourist complexes and selected tourist destinations, ‘ Aashirwad da Diva ‘ will also be lit in major institutions of the Cooperation Department , heritage and historical places and jails of the state .
Regarding the Seva Sankalp campaign, Dr. Arvind Sharma, while releasing a video message, appealed to the people of the state to join this campaign of service , Sankalp and public participation. He said that this campaign starting from the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an opportunity to take the spirit of service to every household. Every person should make this concept of service stronger with their participation.
He said that each lamp lit with the spirit of ‘ One Lamp – One Blessing ‘ will become a symbol of service , resolve , positivity and the auspiciousness of the country and the state . This initiative will connect tourists at tourist spots , local citizens and youth , members and employees in cooperatives and officers and employees in jail premises.
Modi’s basic mantra is public service , schemes have brought change in people’s lives
Dr. Arvind Sharma said in his video message that the basic mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been public service. With this spirit, the Central Government has launched such policies and schemes , which have brought about positive changes in the lives of the common people. He described vaccine production as an example of India’s self-reliance in the Covid era and also mentioned schemes like Lakhpati Didi , action against Naxalism , India’s growing role on the global stage and foreign policy.
He appealed to the people of the state to make the Sewa Sankalp campaign a public participation campaign. He said that every person can become a partner in this campaign by lighting a lamp in their homes and institutions on September 17 .
’25 years of service – a new flight of Haryana tourism ‘ will be seen
Under the campaign , the Tourism Department will put up photo and digital exhibitions on the theme ’25 Years of Service – New Flight of Haryana Tourism ‘ in major tourism complexes. It will showcase the development journey of Haryana’s tourism , religious and historical heritage , Surajkund International Crafts Fair , Kurukshetra-Jyotisar , Pinjore , Morni , Dhosi Pahari and farm and rural tourism.
Dr. Arvind Sharma directed the officers of the concerned departments to select the venues for the ‘ Aashirwad Da Diya ‘ program, complete the necessary preparations on time and ensure that the programs are organized in a dignified manner. He said that through the Seva Sankalp campaign, the Tourism , Cooperation , Jail and Heritage departments will promote the spirit of service and public welfare at their respective levels .
