Chandigarh , September  – The Haryana Government is continuously striving to strengthen and modernize the infrastructure of health services in the rural areas of the state. Taking a major step in this direction, the State Government has given in-principle approval for upgrading two existing government health institutions and establishing two new health institutions.

Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao, while giving information about this decision, said that Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has given his approval to these important proposals with the aim of providing better and affordable medical facilities to the general public near their homes.

Under this decision, the rural and urban border areas of Faridabad district will get a big relief. The sub-health center located in village Manjhavali of Faridabad will now be upgraded as a primary health center. At the same time , the status of the primary health center located in village Palla Sehatpur will be upgraded and developed as a modern urban community health center with a capacity of 50 beds , due to which the local people will not have to go to far-flung big hospitals for emergency and specialized medical services.

Apart from this , approval has been given to open a new primary health center in village Bupenia in Jhajjar district and to establish a new sub-health center in village Arniyawali in Sirsa district.

The Health Minister said that the top priority of the state government is to provide quality health services to the last person of the state. With this new expansion of primary and community health centers, residents of dozens of surrounding villages , women and children will be able to get primary treatment , essential medicines and regular health check-up facilities near them. This will not only improve the quality of health services in the rural areas , but will also reduce the excessive pressure of patients on big district level hospitals .
