Addressing a large gathering of women at Dirba, Finance Minister, Mr. Harpal Singh Cheema said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has fulfilled all the promises made during the 2022 elections. Under the Mother Daughter Satkar Yojana, the remaining promise has also been fulfilled by depositing the due amount for three months in the accounts of women. He said that Rs. 3000 has been deposited in the accounts of women belonging to the general category and Rs. 4500 has been deposited in the accounts of women belonging to the SC category.
Congratulating the women’s wing of the Aam Aadmi Party for this work, Mr. Cheema said that the women’s wing has worked day and night to register the accounts of women for the success of this scheme. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab is reaching the peak of progress, along with that, all the promises made to the people during the elections have been fulfilled one by one.
First of all, the Punjab government waived off 300 units per month to every resident of Punjab without any discrimination. After this, Schools of Eminence were built to raise the standard of education. Apart from this, magnificent stadiums are being built in every third village to encourage the youth towards sports, out of which about 3000 stadiums have been built and ready and work on 6000 more stadiums is going on. With this, the youth of Punjab will stay away from drugs and will put their interest and energy towards sports.
Apart from this, if we talk about roads, 45 thousand kilometers of roads have been built in Punjab and work on many is going on in full swing, they will also be built and ready soon. He took a dig at the opposition parties and said that they always formed governments by making false promises to the people but remained away from the people for five years. They did not fulfill the promises made during the elections, let alone come out of their homes and listen to the sufferings of the people.
The Congress government had promised to go door to door and provide jobs to every household, but even after five years, they have not fulfilled any of their promises. He said that the people of Punjab are supporting the Aam Aadmi Party government and they claimed to form the government again after winning a big victory in the 2027 elections.
