Special Lok Adalat at the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India

To advance the vision of ‘participative justice’ and ‘doorstep delivery of justice’, the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India is organising the ‘Supreme Court Action for Mediated Adjudication and Disputes Harmonization Across Nation’– SAMADHAN SAMAROH, commencing from 21st April, 2026 and culminating into holding of a Special Lok Adalat on 21st, 22nd and 23rd August, 2026.

Sharing information in this regard, Sh. Ashish Thathai, Civil Judge (Senior Division)/C.J.M.-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Sangrur, stated that this Special Lok Adalat aims to facilitate amicable settlement of matters pending before the Supreme Court of India through consent-based resolution mechanisms. He further stated that parties may appear both physically or virtually through the online platform for settlement of their disputes.

Regarding the procedure for listing cases before this Special Lok Adalat, he informed that parties and their advocates may submit their request by filling in the details of their case pending before the Supreme Court of India in the prescribed Google Form at the link https://forms.gle/woYFFEph7pgiTQ7u7.

He further informed that the last date for submission of the Google Form for referring cases under SAMADHAN SAMAROH has been extended to 31st July, 2026.

He also appealed to all advocates and parties to actively participate and contribute to the effective resolution of disputes under this initiative.
